Manual Handling Awareness (MHA) Course

Our Manual Handling Awareness course is a 3-hour theory led course with a practical element.

Unlike our competitors, we do not believe that computer-based training (CBT) is appropriate in teaching delegates how to safely move and handle objects in the workplace. The course includes:

Manual Handling Operations Regulations
Relevant legislation
Dangers of Top Heavy Bending
Effective base movement techniques

and an extensive practical session involving each delegate. On completion, each delegate completes a validation form and signs a training record, a copy of which is sent to the course booker along with their course certificate.
