Automated External Defibrillator (AED) Course

This 4-hour duration Automated External Defibrillator (AED) training course educates the delegate on the physiology and condition of Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA). Additionally, how to assess the casualty prior to deploying a Public Access Defibrillator (PAD). The course includes assessment of casualties, cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and how to safely deploy the AED where appropriate.

It is a 1/2 day (4-hour duration) course, designed to educate and train up to 8 persons in the correct assessment and deployment procedure when using a defibrillator. For more information on the AED, see our FAQ section.

Following successful theory and practical sessions, the attendee is certified for a 3 year period from the date of qualification.

Unlike our competitors, we have a large number of past and currently available defibrillators, and we will endeavour to train staff in the actual unit that the company has at its’ disposal. Most other AED training organizations will use a generic unit and refer the attendee to their own units instruction manual. Following on, our list of customers who have bought, and/or have been trained in the use of their own specific unit include;
