HEARTSINE DATA TRANSFER CABLE

This data cable is used to transfer information from your Heartsine 350P, 360P or 500P following a sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) for emailing to Heartsine to establish that the unit has been used during a SCA. The cable is plugged directly into the Heartsine defibrillator and can subsequently download a Saver® EVO file for information. Software to achieve this is downloadable free of charge from;

The process to be followed:

1. The customer informs us that the Heartsine defib has been deployed.
2. Customer then supplies a completed pdf. Document (which we send) and the relevant .evo file (above). This is downloaded from the data port on top of the device with the data cable.
3. We can then send both of these to the manufacturer for analysis. The event will only qualify for a Free Of Charge Pad-Pak if it has been used in a sudden cardiac arrest. The manufacturer will require to analyse the downloaded files and document to confirm this.
4. Once the manufacturer confirms the Sudden Cardiac Arrest, we will then inform customer if the event is eligible for FOC Pad Pak and/or Forward Hearts program.
5. If eligible, we will inform the customer and send a replacement Pad Pak Free Of Charge.
6. If not eligible, we will relay manufacturer’s reasoning for this to customer. In this instance, the customer will not receive a free replacement Pad Pak, but may wish to purchase a replacement one.
7. We will arrange for the “Forward Hearts” program to be started if the defib has been used, as below.

This program enables individuals who have survived a Sudden Cardiasc Arrest (SCA) event as a result of a Heartsine defibrillator or Lifepak CR2 Defibrillator to save another’s life by donating a Samaritan® Public Access Defibrillator to the charity or organisation of their choice.
