BRONZE DEAL – PACKAGE 1
We’re aware that some customers have already invested in our chair for its’ simplicity and ease of use and do not need another device, but have not yet got either a service contract in place, or staff currently trained in its’ use. After all, it can seem like a leap of faith allowing staff to operate the chair. Understandably, some people feel very uncomfortable either using, or operating the equipment, so competency and confidence training is essential (and required by law)
For that reason we’ve put together a number of special deals, not available elsewhere, whereby we offer a dedicated service, tailor made for our customers.
Our first “BRONZE” deal includes our manufacturers maintenance service package, linked with our EVAC+Chair operator training package.
At aed-defib-shop we are aware that due to staff changes and natural movements, you may now be in the position that you have the equipment to evacuate persons within your buildings, but do not have any staff trained to operate such equipment. As such we are pleased to offer customers our operator training for up to 4 persons, as part of our Bronze EVAC+Chair package 2.
This package not only ensures that your equipment is ready for use when required, but also that staff are competent, confident and ready to use it. Our “Operator” course fully trains, and prepares up to 4 persons to operate the EVAC+CHAIR equipment currently in place.
This training normally retails at £450.00 + vat
Evac 300 evacuation chair maintenance “Servicare” agreement
As this piece of essential evacuation equipment is designated a Class 1 Medical device, you need to ensure that your investment in EVAC+CHAIR equipment is protected, and this can easily be achieved by signing up to an aed-defib-shop annual manufacturers maintenance support “Servicare” package for your device.
Health & Safety, and Disability Discrimination legislation places stringent demands on every organisation to meet their duty of care by providing adequate means of escape for visitors and staff on their premises.
Subsequently, as a Class 1 Medical device, your chair/s should be regularly serviced and maintained as per manufacturer’s guidelines, to ensure their continued safe operation. This requirement is included within several pieces of UK legislation including;
- Provision and Use of Works Equipment Regulations (PUWER) 1998, Regulation 5
- Lifting Operations & Lifting Equipment Regulations (LOLER) 1998 Regulation 9(3)(a)
- Manual Handling Operations Regulations Regulation (MHOR) 1992 as amended 4(1)(b)(ii) and several others.
To help our clients meet these legal obligations, we at the aed-defib-shop offer our EVAC+CHAIR manufacturer supported annual maintenance “Servicare” contract, which ensures your equipment is always fully operational, meets the required standards, and is ready for emergencies.
Our annual on-site “Servicare” visit includes;
- An on-site inspection of your EVAC+CHAIR/S
- Full 19 point visual checklist
- Replacement of any worn, or wearing parts
- Testing, Recording & Reporting on condition and work carried out
- Additional call outs during the term of the annual contract, if required (useful if your equipment is used for training, or for regular fire drill evacuation)
This “Servicare” package is an annual contract, normally retailing at £100.00 + vat per chair.
