The HeartSine® Samaritan® PAD 500P defibrillator with integrated CPR Advisor™ gives rescuers feedback on the effectiveness of their CPR efforts – in real time.
Compact in Size. Big on Ability
- User-friendly. Easy-to-understand visual and voice prompts guide a user through the entire process.
- Compact and lightweight. Up to 56% smaller than other AEDs on the market and weighs only 2.4 lbs (1.1 kg).
- Built-in confidence. The Samaritan PAD 500P integrated CPR Advisor uses an Impedance Cardiogram (ICG) to assess the effectiveness of the CPR and give the rescuer feedback on compressions: “Push Harder,” “Push Faster,” “Push Slower” or reassurance that they are performing “Good Compressions.”
- Highest level of dust/moisture protection. The Samaritan PAD has a rating of IP56. Moreover, this gives the SAM 500P defibrillator with the highest level of protection from dust or moisture ingress in the industry.
- Durable. Despite the compact size, the Samaritan PAD 500P resists shock and vibration and carries an eight-year unit warranty that demonstrates the reliability of this quality unit.
- Advanced technology. The Samaritan PAD 500P utilizes proprietary electrode technology, alongside advanced and stable firmware. Additionally, the 500p houses proprietary SCOPE™* Biphasic Technology to assess rhythm and maximize effective shock delivery if necessary.
Easy-to-Follow Visual and Voice Prompts
- User-friendly. The Samaritan PAD 500P features easy-to understand visual and voice prompts that guide a user through the process. Additionally, three large, easy-to-see icons facilitate the rescue process: “Attach pads,” “Do not touch the patient,” and “It is safe to touch the patient”.
- Two-button operation. Only two buttons, ON/OFF and SHOCK, are required, providing straightforward operation.
- Always ready. A System Status Ready Indicator flashes to show that the complete system is operational and ready for use. Furthermore, the device automatically runs self check each week.
Real Economy for the Real World
- Two parts, one expiration date. Pad-Pak™ cartridge combines battery and electrode pads, with one expiration date to monitor.
- Low cost of ownership. Cartridge has a shelf life of 4 years from date of manufacture. Furthermore, this offers significant savings over other defibrillators that require separate battery and pad units.
- Protects both adults and children. The HeartSine PAD’s built-in intelligence and unique Pediatric Pad-Pak, which is available for 1-8 years of age (<25 kg or 55 lbs). Consequently, the pads ensure the appropriate energy level is delivered for children. Whenever the Pediatric Pad-Pak is used, CPR Advisor is automatically turned off.
- Field upgradeable. Easily upgraded in the field to the latest AHA/ERC guidelines.
