The CR2 battery is designed for use with the Physio Control CR2 AED family. There is a battery indicator on the CR2 unit which lights when at least 6 shocks and 30 minutes of operating time remain.

The CR2 Lithium Manganese Dioxide (Li/MN02) is a 12 Volt, 4.7 amp per hour battery.

Each battery provides 166 x 200 Joules shocks (with one minute of CPR between shocks) or 103 x 360 Joules shocks (with one minute of CPR between shocks) or 800 minutes of operating time.

A new battery will provide device power for 4 years if installed in a device which is not used.
